Salonika Neupaune

Salonika Neupane completed her Bachelor's in Social Sciences from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, Japan. is a volunteer in FiLiA, a feminist organization based in the UK. She has also been a Board member for Power Shift Nepal, a female-led not-for-profit organization. She has completed her Master's in Psychology from Tribhuvan University. Currently, she is a lecturer of Psychology at St. Xavier's College, Maitighar, and is also pursuing a Bachelor's in Education from Purbanchal University. Her background in psychology and experience as a lecturer as well as a Teacher's Assistant during her undergraduate studies have helped her gain experiential knowledge of pedagogy and dealing with students. Salonika is also interested in gender issues. She has published research on the conceptualization of menstruation among young women in Kathmandu Valley, co-authored with a student. Currently, she is working on a research project on flight from womanhood, with another student.
